The Three Journeys of Marketing:

Why clients don't buy, why smart marketing tactics fail, and how to reverse that.

You have probably heard potential clients say: "I'm really interested, but not right now..." And you've probably gathered many marketing tips and strategies that seem to work... and then they don't deliver the goods. What's really going on? Is there a larger context and a deeper purpose behind marketing that's being missed? Actually, in most cases there is. This workshop is meant to finally help make all of the marketing and sales you've learned finally work.

Mark is the founder of Heart of Business, and the author of five books and programs. He has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs and small business owners, and thousands of people follow his teachings which he publishes every Wednesday. His clients have a habit of surpassing their goals by double or triple, without compromising their values or their heart.

He is has been named a Master Sufi spiritual teacher in his lineage, and brings an active connection with the Divine to his work. His hope is to see your business thrive so that it can support you and your family, while contributing to the community around you. Vicky Lind, creative career counselor

Marketing Message and
Developing a Plan

The fun continues with Creative Career Consultant extraordinaire Vicki Lind who will guide participants through their marketing message and developing a marketing plan that is individualized and easy to follow through and track.

Vicki Lind, MS, NCC is a creative career counselor who works with three groups of kindred spirits: creative people, people who want to make a difference, and procrastinators.

She is drawn to creative people because she, herself, is a creative divergent thinker (and a little bit quirky). Vicki imaginatively pulls together resources to meet the idiosyncratic needs of each client. Her own creative venues include painting and gardening.

Vicki also feels kinship with people who want their employment to reflect their ideals of helping individuals, the community, and the environment. She draws from her long professional history in education and mental health. Her adult roots are deep in Portland’s east side communities.

Vicki is a fixture in the self-employed creative community and has quite a devoted following. Ask around at the next SECP monthly event and you're sure to get glowing comments all around.
