Hello Fellow Artist/Creator ~

Thank you for your interest in the Working Artists Network Roundtable. MEET ME AT FACEBOOK: Artists & Creatives Who Successfully Use Social Media Marketing to Move Their Business Forward.

Among our guest panelists are independent creatives/artists Jeff Fisher of Jeff Fisher Logomotives, and Rebecca Shapiro artist and online media consultant, who have successfully used social media tools to:

  • Promote and sell their products and services;
  • Attract fans and collectors;
  • Build relationships with the people who matter to them and visa versa;
  • And just in general strengthen their identity in a world oversaturated with artificial means of promoting ourselves.

JEFF FISHER, author of "Identity Crisis!: 50 redesigns that transformed stale identities into successful brands" is the Engineer of Creative Identity for Jeff Fisher LogoMotives. He has received nearly 600 regional, national and international design awards for his logo design efforts. His work is featured in over 100 books about logos, the design business, and small business marketing.

REBECCA SHAPIRO, was a trainer for eBay, showing independent business owners how to use eBay to create a sustainable business online, is the local leader of Ladies Who Launch. Rebecca has worked with over 110 small businesses and has extensive experience consulting and collaborating with entrepreneurs who wish to strengthen and enhance their businesses.

Joining them on the panel is visiting Associate Professor TIM CHRISTY, in marketing and advertising management at Portland State University School of Business Administration. He has been active in exploring online media to understand its use in advertising and marketing in a way that provides true value to both the consumer and the advertiser. His professional background includes freelance features reporting and copywriting, advertising sales, strategic communications development, market research analysis, quality assurance analysis, and editing.
